How many do you expect to attend the conference?

In 2014 we had 185 attendees from at least 7 different states at our conference.  By using all the new communication tools at our disposal including this website and social media as well as getting ward and stake leaders involved in spreading the message, we believe we can easily increase that number by 10%, which would give us 200+ attendees.

Can I access this website on my iPhone, Android Phone, iPad, or other mobile device?

Yes! This site is optimized for mobile devices. You should easily be able to perform all functions on your mobile device, including registration, payment, and using the maps to navigate to various locations during the conference.

Is it too late to register for the boat cruise?

NO! You may still register and we hope you do! But register today!

I am not going on the boat cruise. What will I do while everyone else is on the boat?

The only event Saturday evening is the boat cruise.

Is there going to be dancing on the boat cruise?

No, but there will be lots of mingling activities and games, along with dinner. There will be two and half hours of dancing Friday night.

Do attendees have to register for the conference if they are not going on the boat cruise?

Yes, we ask that every attendee register. We need to know how many are attending so we can plan for food, housing, and other events.

Who is eligible to attend the conference?

All single adults aged 31 and older may attend. We also welcome and encourage LDS single adults outside of Minnesota to attend. All divorces must be final, since that is how single status is defined by the church. Latter-Day Saint standards for dress and behavior also apply. Friends who are not church members may attend, please make sure they are aware of standards.

Are you allowing same day conference registration?

Yes, but the sooner you register, the better! There is a discount for early registration.

Is there a temple session planned for the conference?

Due to the change in conference location on Saturday, there will not be a temple session as part ofthe conference.

For attendees traveling from outside the Twin Cities metro area, is housing available?

Yes, we will provide member housing free of charge to attendees. Please include your housing request with your early registration. We will guarantee housing for all who register early for the conference. We will do our best to find housing for late registration entries (we don't foresee this as an issue, but the more time we have to plan for this, the better).

Will there be vegetarian options at the meals?

Yes. Please indicate your preferences or any dietary restrictions you have on the registration form.

What if I need a ride to the Boat Cruise?

From the St. Paul Stake Center, we will organize ourselves by 4:30 pm to go to the boat cruise and then drive directly to St. Croix Boat & Packet Company in Stillwater.

Can you provide more details on the boat cruise?

We will have a buffet-style dinner on our cruise as well as a variety of mingling activities and games. The boat launches at 6:00 pm sharp, so please get there at least 15 minutes early for parking and boarding. We will cruise from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. You are free to roam the boat as you please, mingle as much or as little as you like, walk around or sit down, and enjoy the view from the one of the decks.  The Avalon is an awesome paddleboat!

If I register and pay for the conference, and later have a work conflict or personal life conflict that stops me from attending the conference, can I get a refund?

Yes, as long as we get 72 hours notice. Please email Jim Jackson from the Minneapolis stake with this request (see contact info above).

I'd like to go on the boat cruise but affordability is an issue for me. What are my options?

If the cost of the conference will create a financial hardship for you, please contact your bishop or branch president. They may be able to assist with conference fees.

Are there Facebook group(s) that are associated with this conference?
