Minnesota Eight Stake Singles Conference

OVERVIEW OF ACTIVITIES
FRIDAY NIGHT
To kick off our conference, we have planned a great Minnesota outdoor barbeque while enjoying the fresh air and cool summer breeze at the park adjacent to the Oakdale Stake Center. After dinner we will move to the Stake Center for a dance, good music, and more good food.
SATURDAY MORNING
We start off Saturday with a continental breakfast begins at the St. Paul Stake Center at 8:00. At 9:30 we are delighted to hear from our Keynote Speaker, sister DeAnna Murphy. DeAnna is a noted author, business owner, inspirational speaker and notably a loving mother and grandmother. After the Keynote address we will have one workshop period to explore and expand our horizons
SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Saturday afternoon begins with lunch followed by two more workshop sessions. At 3:00 pm we will have a testimony meeting. We will then get organized for the boat cruise.
SATURDAY EVENING
The conference's big event is our boat cruise! We have planned a 3-hour boat cruise on the St. Croix River aboard the Avalon, the largest and most spacious paddlewheel boat in the Midwest! This will include a dinner buffet and lots of opportunities to get to know others who are attending the conference. We will be able to enjoy the cool summer breezes and a glorious sunset!.
We will organize ourselves at the St. Paul Stake Center and depart for Stillwater at 4:30 pm. It is about a half hour drive to the Stillwater, and the boarding will begin about 5:45. The boat cruise will be from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
